Rumi
Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī (Persian: جلالالدین محمد رومی) or Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Balkhī (جلالالدین محمد بلخى) was a 13th-century Persian or Farsi (فارسی) poet, jurist, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Rumi was born on September 30, 1207 in Balkh (Afghanistan).
In November 1244, Rumi’s life changed dramatically when he met the dervish Shams al-Din of Tabriz. Rumi spent so much time with him that his disciples became jealous until Shams disappeared in 1247. Rumi died in 1273. He was buried in Konya (Turkey) and his shrine became a place of pilgrimage. Wikipedia
When we are dead, seek not our tomb in the earth,
but find it in the hearts of men.
